turtleVolunteers are the heart of the Pacific Beach Coalition offering rewarding opportunities to engage in stewardship and lifelong learning about the environment.

We invite you to get involved, and do what inspires you!  Our volunteers comprise a community of individuals from many walks of life – parents, grandparents, stay-at-home moms and dads, high school and college students, employees, scouts, pre-schoolers, retired people and more.  In 2014, they gave more than 24,000 hours of service to our mission by engaging in the field, lending their skills, organizing our events and making a difference in our coastal community.
We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us. Beyond our core “take action” field education programs and events (such as beach cleanups and native habitat restoration), there are other ways to get involved in long-term, short-term, and flexible opportunities.
Check out our current volunteer opportunities to find the best match for you.
