Next Habitat Restoration: Sunday, June 27th from 10am to Noon, Pacifica

Please follow the following rules to keep everyone and our Habitat Restoration site captains, safe and healthy:
- Wear your mask and respect social distancing
- BYO tools: bring your own reusable gardening gloves, pruning shears, hand trowel and shovel if you have them
Be prepared for up to 1 mile of walking uphill on uneven ground, and maybe bring bag to carry hand tools and drinking water. Because we are never sure of the weather, make sure to bring extra layers, a hat, sunblock, water and snacks.
If weather is uncertain for the scheduled activity, please contact site captain to check if event is still on or if it is cancelled due to rain.
About the Restoration:
Site Captain: Michael Ayala, Freidel Cohen and Jeremy
Where to Meet: On the EAST side of Highway 1 at Crespi Drive stoplight on the morning of the event. You many also join in on the event after 10am by crossing Highway 1 at the stoplight, and heading north on the coastal trail bike path to join the team.
Parking: There are two public parking lots available in the area. One lot at Pacifica’s Community Center for a parking fee is located at the corner of Highway 1 and Crespi Drive where you park and cross at the Crespi traffic light then walk north on the bike path towards Rockaway Beach.
Supplies: Volunteers need to bring their own favorite planting tools, a shovel or hoe, and reusable garden/work gloves.
Focus Area: Volunteers usually remove non-native and invasive plants between the dunes and bike path as well as the hillside below the highway.
