On Saturday 25 March, as I was attending the American Pharmaceutical Association Meeting in San Francisco, Joe Recto stood in admirably as Site Captain and was assisted by many of the site’s Rock Stars who are regular supporters of this cleanup plus new volunteers. Having counted only 5 volunteers at the last cleanup, I was very surprised to greet a big group from Fremont as early as 8.45 am when I pulled up at my site to unload my car.
