Cleanups are better with donuts
It was a beautiful October morning, sunny with a slight breeze at Esplanade Beach!! We had 20 volunteers come out to help us. A big thanks to our friends from OceanAire Apartments brought donuts and coffee for our volunteers!
Together we picked up 22 pounds of trash, 2 pounds of recycling, and 1,502 cigarette butts ready to be recycled! One pair got over 700 butts in an hour of cleaning up the beaches. Hurray!
It was a great group of volunteers, some were school groups and others were local residents. Thank you to OceanAire and everyone who came out to keep our town and ocean beautiful!
