Another beautiful day spent on the beach! 16 volunteers helped up picket 56 lbs of trash and 7 lbs of recycling. Unfortunately, crab season means lots of busted crab traps and zip ties along with other fishing material, deadly for fish and birds. Please remember to take your trash with you.

What an amazing turn around we had on Coastal Cleanup day! We estimated 92 volunteers counting adults and children and you were all FANTASTIC! A fiberglass skiff possibly from Japan, which may or may not be from the 2011 tsunami disaster, recently washed ashore at Mussel Rock (near Avalon Canyon in Daly City) in August 2014.
