The Pacific Beach Coalition’s former president, Lynn Adams, was recently interviewed for Coastside News about the legacy she built. The article also explores more about what inspired Adams to become a steward of the coast and grow the organization from its humble grassroots beginnings to the reach and impact it has today.

In true Adams’ spirit, she continues to instill in all of us that ordinary people can make a difference by doing something simple — like picking up trash. Before you know it, one piece of trash removed becomes 20 becomes 1,000 and eventually amounts to more than 500,000 pounds. That’s what collective action can do over time.

Adams is excited to hand the organization over to a new generation of Earth Heroes with Director Patrick James Cavanaugh at the helm.
