About Miramar Beach, Half Moon Bay:
Miramar Beach is located off highway 1 between Half Moon Bay and El Grenada and runs parallel to the Miramar Road. The Miramar Bluff contains a portion of the California Coastal Trail that heads north and south for bikers, runners, and walkers. It is a sandy beach mostly accessible at low tide and it is a perfect location to watch whales, porpoises, shorebirds, harbor seals and other marine life.

About the Cleanup:
Where to Meet: Meet on the Coastal Trail entrance off of Magellan Avenue so for your GPS you can enter 200 Magellan Avenue, Half Moon Bay, CA.
Site captains: Celine and National Charity League Coastside leader.
Parking: Free street parking.
Cleanup Areas: We’ll cover Miramar Beach, coastal trail and neighborhood streets.
Supplies: Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own buckets and reusable gloves. Extra gloves, buckets, pickup sticks and specific tools for this site cleanup will be provided while supplies last. Because we are never sure of the weather, make sure to bring extra layers, a hat, sunblock, water and snacks.
Litter: Bottles, cans, wrappers, packing straps, cigarette butts, and micro-plastics.
Restrooms: Across from meeting location.

Special Regulations & Precautions:
Dogs: On a leash. Please be responsible and pick up your dog waste. Bags are available on walkway down to the beach.
